Yoga at home
In this class you will learn about your body. Over the course of an hour I help you move through stubborn areas, old injuries and teach you how to move from the inside out, rather than working towards shapes that don't suit your body. This class will leave you feeling stronger and more supple than before, all in the comfort of your own home.
My classes are private, 1:1 or 2:1, and last 45 minutes -1½ hours. Most clients set up regular weekly or bi-weekly sessions to ensure a good structure for progress. However, as-and-when meetings can also be arranged, as I recognize that scheduling ahead may be hard for busy New Yorkers, especially if you have little ones at home!
I teach Vinyasa Flow, and have a special interest in pre-and post natal yoga. Your private class I will also offer information on how to cope with the physical changes, aches and pains that some women experience during pregnancy. My classes involve a lot of hands-on adjustments and some gentle, therapeutic touch to help you settle in your poses. If you do not wish to be adjusted during your class, please let me know before we start.
I bring yoga blocks, blankets, straps, aromatic oils, etc. I do ask that you provide a yoga mat, a towel and a pillow at your session.
