Christa is an osteopath with a background in performing arts and yoga. Though growing up in Norway, she has spent most of her adult life in the UK and now lives in Highbury with her husband and two children.
Christa holds a Masters in Osteopathy from the British College of Osteopathy and her yoga teacher qualification from YogaWorks in New York City. During a few years spent living in the U.S. she worked with pregnant women in the city and helped mums with their postnatal recoveries and concerns.
She enjoys teaching her patients about their bodies to help them feel integral in the treatment process. The antenatal period is an exciting and intense time in a woman’s life with a lot of changes happening in a short space of time. Christa’s primary aim is to provide honest advice and treatment that will help women feel as supported and comfortable as possible along the way.
Treatments often include physical advice, manual therapy, exercise and yoga, medical acupuncture and k-taping.
Favourite things to treat: Pelvic conditions, antenatal, TMJ dysfunction, dance injuries.
